Off-Season Training Opportunities

We encourage each of our wrestlers to partake in off-season wrestling. The high school season lasts for four month; by participating in these opportunities, one can gain 3 times more experience than that of a wrestler who only wrestles during the high school season.


Kyle Bounds will be hosting the Titan Club at Union High School, including spring workouts and open practices Mon/Wed (weightlifting starting at 3:30 PM, followed by practice from 4:30PM to 6:00PM) .

Southwest Washington Wrestling Club

SWWWC  is run by Merle Crockett, who has been serving the Southwest Washington wrestling community for over 20 years.  The club is sanctioned by USA Wrestling and is a member of the North West Junior Collegiate Wrestling Association (NWJCWA). This is a great club for all levels and teaches successful technique for collegiate, freestyle and Greco. Practices are TUES/THURS, 6-8 PM and SUN, 1:30-3:30 PM at the Crockett Training Facility, located outside of Woodland at 42112 Munch Road, Amboy WA. Peninsula Wrestling Club

Peninsula is run by Roy Pitman “Pitt”, who has been a renowned coach for over 40 years. This club offers a high intensity workout with a lot of live wrestling in all 3 styles. Practices are MON/WED/FRI 5:30PM-7:30PM and TUES/THURS 8:00PM-9:30PM at 700 N Rosa Parks Way, Portland OR. Visitors are always welcome. Talk to Coach Pittman for membership pricing. Askeo International Mat Club
